Dan Caven is a San Rafael and Oakland-based artist with a mission to liberate paint, rescue trash, and illuminate gas—all at the same time, when necessary.

Dan began his art career by painting a 600 square foot mural in the Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery Lofts in Los Angeles.

Now he studies art at The Crucible in Oakland, where you can find him most Sundays. On Fridays he teaches collage at The Victory Center at the Cedars of Marin.
